April 2015 – Mrs. Danyluk’s Class
The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba
Now and Ben by Gene Barretta
The theme of the day was inventions. The kids were each given a plain piece of paper and told to draw their own invention. On the back of the paper, they were asked to write down the name and a little description including what it does and how it might help people. All of the papers were then put in a binder called “The Inventions of Mrs. Danyluk’s Class” that they could bring back to their classroom and share with their peers and parents.
