October 2014 – Mrs. DiCuio’s Class
By the Light of the Halloween Moon by Caroline Stutson
I’m Not Afraid of this Haunted House by Laurie Friedman
The kids were separated into groups of 8, girls on one side, boys on the other. Each group recevied a large cut-out of a bat to decorate. Their options included pom poms, eyes (big and small), tissue paper, stickers, and the unanimous favorite, washable glitter glue! Pictures of the activity and the final creative result can be seen below. After the activity, each child received a halloween goody bag filled with peanut-free candy, bubbles, and stickers.
